I would prefer 2-note-threads like:

'1) HERE IS MY LONG STORY ABOUT Y'

'2) LONG STORY Y'

over single 'LONG STORY Y ALL AT ONCE' notes. This for readability and ignorability.

Agree that anything over 2 notes is needless complication
