True! You eventually became chancellor of the Klingon Empire but it was a close run thing with the House of Duras. You had to weather the Sisters of Duras, Lursa and B'Etor, who used Toral, the young son of Duras, to challenge your position. But level-headed Picard, in his capacity as the Arbiter of Succession for the Klingon High Council, ensured your selection. It did, however, split the High Council and lead to a short-lived civil war between both Houses. But I salut you! Klingons who side with Romulans are without honour.

I salute you but some of your history is incorrect. The Duras were never in any position whereby they could have seized any real power. They were never a threat, never a challenge -- only a miserable petaH'Q would believe such nonsense... The "civil war" you refer to was nothing more than the rounding up of several criminals and execution of some traitors πŸ‘€
