I was, and still am a #Techno head. Went my first #Techno club in '94, never stopped really, clubbing a lot less now, obviously, but never lost the love for the music🙏🏻.

I was more into free parties in barns and cow sheds in '94. 🤙

Wow. You must have a few years on me then. I actually thought you may have been a year or 2 younger than me, don't know why, just a hunch. One night in '94/95 we were going to the "Super Club" Creme, in Liverpool, and at the time, it really was a super club. They wouldn't let my mate in. We ambled round for a bit and found a #Techno club called VOODOO on Duke St. It won "The Underground Club of The Year" in "Music" Magazine. We were hooked. What a fucking place. Immense🤯!

#techno head here as well 🙏and an amateur producer working on a fully analog modular system, would love some feedback from experienced peeps; still working on improving my jamming skills by the way https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UNJq3xoZOMo

Enjoyed that mate. Quite impressive that you recorded it live all in one go without any further editing in a DAW.

Really appreciate the comment! I do use a daw to digitize the track from tape, and if needed, adjust the levels/tone; DMG audio eq and limiter are my go to plugins. A while back I was using compression in the daw as well but I feel it messes with the tone so ditched it for good. You produce as well right? I think I saw you mentioned something about it in one of your comments.

Yes, i do a little bit of production as a hobby. Though I've not been in my studio for about 6 months. I really should get back in there! Who are your favourite #Techno artists?

Would be great if you did! I’m curious to listen to any of your tracks. I got stuck with oldies, (Octave One, Atkins) and the occasional bandcamp act, Teik Aro’s “acid resurrection pt. 2” hits good, who are yours?

Im very similar to yourself, I'm now in my late 40's now so did most of my #Techno clubbing in the mid/late 90's. Waaaaaay too many to mention really. Surgeon and Dave Clarke from The UK. Claude Young, Jeff Mills Stateside, Fumiya Tanaka from Japan, etc etc.

Almost the same as you, early 40s, it’s been quite a ride eh; by the way, I listened to the soundcloud track you posted recently, nice groove! Keep them coming 🙏
