it doesn't matter if they're not able to do it "correctly." you're missing the point. the bridge that Boltz built is able to go down or perform censorship.

there are NO canonical, trustless, permissionless bridges to liquid or rootstock. and the only way to bridge money onto lightning without trust is by getting your own channel. all of the layer twos and sidechains that bitcoin has are a joke right now. Boltz just did a really good job of making everything look normal so long as they behaved.
