What one sees in the feed / timeline depends on the people she/he follows. There are enough users who post other topics, so one is not stuck with crypto topics. I groom my follow list and my feed / timeline reflects that. I think this is similar in fediverse.

The experience in nostr vary from app to app and the relay choices can skew the feed also. On the app side, masto and pixelfed apps are more consistent, more performant, and more stable at the moment. But nostr apps are progressing at a good pace.

Thanks. That was very informative.

When one visits the Public timeline e.g. primal.net - love the work done on that site - it’s the first impression one gets. But I understand it now - it’s about curating your feed/lists/follows like the Fediverse.
