So, Steve Barclay says (on expanding #privatesector involvement in the #NHS), 'We must use every available resource to deliver life-saving checks to ease pressure on the NHS'!

So here's an idea Mr Barclay:

a. money is a resource;

b. its available (because you're spending with private sector providers);

c. Why not add it to the core funding of the NHS.... pay the staff better & expand the maintenance funds...

Spend some cash to repair and upgrade existing hospitals, and purchase equipment and PPE for staff. Those private hospitals use NHS staff, thus adding to the waiting times; and probably add to donations to the Tory party. Short-term non-solution - a typical #tory response.

Yes

If the Tories have got £ for the #NHSCrisis then they can:

- build the 40 hospitals they said they would

- pay care staff a living wage

- pay Drs and nurses inflation linked wages

and

Stop subsidising the private sector to make more profit

Sunak's family have invested in private healthcare, he's just making money for himself and his mates

nostr:npub1g0tuf634rz4suczwj7kgnecr6cyt0eu9xmp3sp0fku68mqehq4msp3tvm4 it is funny, nhs contracted private care costs 3 times the nhs price, but ghat is what a succession of health ministers have pushed for.

Why, if it costs more?

Oh that is easy, public money into private/donors pockets is always the tory way.
