Yes, I think it can be kept simple and staggered, eg

Page 1 = Name and bio

Page 2 = Banner and pfp

Then you’re in, quick tutorial and go.

I also think it’s worth having a slider (with maybe 5 positions?) to set the filter on Global from:

slow and safe -> fast and loose

Then they can see Global alive and Global clean. It’s easy and intuitive.
