New Nintendo switch for reals this time. Looks just like a better switch. Which I think is fine because the switch had a good form factor.
I'll probably buy it and then just use my old switch as a modded system.

dont have the money so I'll stick to my ol' xbox one s. It's good enough for gaming plus there are so many games i haven't played yet.
To be honest I really don't need it. I would be buying it for my son. And really the new legion go s is probably a better deal if this thing is close in price.
if i traveled a lot i'd get used 3ds and mod it to run retro games, anything is better than mobile gaming imo
I molded my old 3ds. Which I never even used.
Spent a day doing it. Loaded a sd card up with a bunch of games for free.
Still for value nothing comes close to my steam deck.
The amount of games that thing can play is insane. And then you can plug it into a monitor and shit post too.
And used a steam deck is pretty close in price to a used 3ds. Around 200$
Steam deck is about as portable as my laptop. Besides the pricing is higher here in europe.
someone bundled wine with a desktop environment and packaged it as an android app. here's my ARM phone playing an x86 game with no streaming or emulation. some people even got games like fallout new vegas working on their phone. the phone also has its own built in desktop environment called samsung dex.
the controller I'm using is that new 8bitdo phone controller. they have been going on sale for 40 USD

Not many games are gonna run well with x86 emulation on current samsung phones. You cant run skyrim. But you can basically play the entire gamecube wii ps2 library on any modern phone.
Android native games aren't to bad these days either. Just a smaller library.
I do recognize there is a lot of value there. I plug my samsung into my TV and play call of duty mobile sometimes.
