hope you know i’m extremely envious of you
I grew up 2 hours away so it was rare I got go in my teen years. I saw a lot of smaller band shows there when I lived in STL between 99-02
that’s so cool thought still jealous 😭
i had the sinkhole and foam in my teen years and early adulthood. grateful to have been able to go to the small shows. but man i would have adored mississippi nights
Sounds fun. Not familiar with those places. Guessing they opened after I left? I remember MN having the underage section which was rare. That place takes me back to an interesting time of my life when the Dotcom boomed had hit and was busting a bit and I was a fresh 20 something from a small town absorbing so much all at once. It was from during that time I started nostr:npub10hgypqzf2h5nne3unhttvzhd7mpfkm8860wvj8eh7pkrsdhksy7sr3q9w5 in 2000 as I got to know members of several different bands and helped them with Internet tech. They’d have shows there and invite me to come and watch.
