I love my job. I'd do it and will do it even if I don't get paid to do it.

I like my job. It's pretty cool.

I'm happy with part-time, tho.

And I tend to fill any free time I gain with volunteer labor.

I guess it's because we have sort of creative "building" jobs. Those are more fun.

Our employers aren't really paying us to work; they're paying us to work on the projects that they want us to work on within a particular time.

So, they pay to direct our work.

(... unless the payment we receive has a more or less big part that depends on actual success of a given project ... 😁)

Well, that can also be the case in volunteer work. With bounties, for instance.
