Dude, I am good with all kinds of fuckery on chain except OP_RETURN standardness. I think 40 bytes is too much. OP_RETURN means IGNORE, DO NOT RELAY THIS, but by makinging the field standard Core hacked the system. Knots is no better to have included 40 bytes.
you understand inscriptions allow for 4x more spam to be stored per block and op_return is way less harmful right?

Yes, so why would anyone use it over inscriptions? Only reason I can see is to include data that goes against miners ToS. That or Core finally fixes the inscriptions bug.
