Merkur 34c, over 20 years with the same razor, lots of money saved.
It's silly, but not so silly, the truth is out there.

I have the same Merkur!!! I have been using it for almost 10 years and have never looked back. I love being able to choose my blade. I get a single use when I save my beard and head in one go
It is one of the first truths I discovered, it is like Miyagi's teachings of "give wax, polish wax", perhaps without this razor I would not have made it to Bitcoin.
With it I became aware of deceptive marketing.
Exactly! So many doors opened becuase of it. For me, it was fountain pens, and double edge razors....opened my eyes
Mühle R41 + Feather never looked back.
Amazing combo. Feather are a little too sharp for me lol. I prefer Personna
That looks nice. How often do you have to replace the blades?
I replace them out of boredom, spent pennies a month on shaving.
I prefer the version with the long handle but the sentiment is the same. So much wasted money with the disposable brands.
Gotta love a good double edge safety razor.
I used one of these for a long time when I was in the shaving business.
I got into wet shaving for a while, if you want to shave the ritual of it is certainly enjoyable
Nowadays I have an electric trimmer
Got my Merkur 34c few days ago, so far so good 👍
Merkur 33c
Got that very one, great shave. But my fav was my Edwin Jagger DE89 until I dropped it. Very sad. Using a cheaper Parker now, and it is surprisingly good. Feather blades are the bomb, and the Personna Med preps are a close second.
