WHY IS ART IMPORTANT?

Art is important for a multitude of reasons. Here are a few:

Self-expression: Art allows individuals to express themselves in unique and meaningful ways. Through various forms of art, people can convey their thoughts, emotions, and experiences to others.

Communication: Art has the power to communicate complex ideas and messages in ways that words cannot. It can transcend language barriers and speak to people across cultures and time periods.

Cultural preservation: Art is an important part of human culture and history. It provides a window into the past, allowing us to understand the values, beliefs, and practices of different societies.

Inspiration: Art can inspire creativity and innovation. By exposing people to new ideas and perspectives, art can spark new ways of thinking and problem-solving.

Emotional impact: Art can evoke powerful emotions and provide a cathartic release for individuals. It can also serve as a source of comfort and solace during difficult times.

Entertainment: Art can be enjoyable and entertaining. It can bring people together and provide a shared experience that fosters social connections.

Overall, art is important because it enriches our lives in countless ways and helps us make sense of the world around us.

WHAT IS THE MINNAAR ART COLLECTION?

Minnaars are a collection of original artworks that I am releasing at the rate of 1 per day and each Minnaar can be exchanged for bitcoin or any other Minnaar that I have available now or in the future. And, just for fun, each artwork contains a clue to a hidden treasure.

I use my art to challenge people to re-examine their perceptions of money, art and value. What is money? What is art? What makes some things more valuable than others?

It is also my desire to encourage people to experience more art in real life as opposed to looking at pictures on a tiny screen. There is nothing like experiencing the actual scale, texture, and context of a great work of art
