Testing Phoenix wallet not really experienced in the opening and closing of channels can someone dumb it down for me!!

Does Phoenix only open outbound channels, or inbound too?

Opens a channel upon receiving a lightning transaction as far as I figured out cost 3k for channel just not sure what I’m doing opened a channel when I sent 15k to wallet received 12k into wallet tried another for 500 received all 500.. just not that experienced with the channel aspect

You should have inbound and outbound liquidity channels. You should be able to view them in the wallet, and that will let you know how much you can transact.
