People are using the shootings of strangers showing up at the wrong door to advocate for gun control, which is obviously to be expected. But if we really want to address the issue we need to be asking ourselves why people feel so unsafe in their own homes that they feel the need to fire the gun in the first place. If our society is at a place where we can't even feel safe in our homes, we have much larger issues than "gun control".
