I'm not a big fan of quotes that say you should forget everything from the past and just start again for the new year. Basically, I firmly believe that you can start afresh every day. Nevertheless, you shouldn't forget the past. You should learn your lessons from it. Some things can be learned, some things should be cherished. We are what we are because of the past. I have accepted mine and made peace with it.
