Iris rejects content from unknown users (=not follow by you or users you follow) and that helps to filter out a lot of the spam.

sure enough, I see the boobies lmao. So I should recommend Iris maybe to like my mom or grandma over nostrgram to keep them from seeing somthing on accident

Nostrgram blurs images from people you don't follow by default. I'm pushing an update tonight that fixes it not blurring images from url previews. Some of the telegram "invites" have porn images in their previews. Those will be blurred also after this update.
