Okay fam need your feedback, I built a feature on #toolstr that lets you anonymously message (burner keys) anyone on nostr. I fear this can create a lot of spam. Question is, should I release it 😂 ?
Already know the reasons for why not, but any valid reasons for why I should?

One reason to release is if you get enough spam to want to push for more anti-spam measures. Since Nostr is anti-fragile if you don't see enough progress in a certain direction then exacerbating the problem may generate the protective response you desire. Or not, it's a jungle out there.
We already have a lot of spam in the last weeks.
If you release it, clients, relays, the network has to accomodate to the new number of spams.
So at the end, it can have a benefit of forcing better spam handling.
Every bad can have some good!
Maybe wait a little bit because of current spam, but def release it at some point
