anyhow, just down the road from me is a place with the name 'lavrador' and i'm pretty sure that's the portuguese version of the same name as the place the dog breed comes from, because they use V in places where B is used in a lot of other places, and ironically, B is used in Russian and other cyrillic using languages for V
