Happy Birthday USA

Birthdays are a time for reflection. What are we, as Americans, proud of? What are we ashamed of? And what areas must we grow in the coming year?

And who among us would rather ignore their nation, it’s politics, and even the celebration of it?

As this great experiment hits its 247th year, all these questions must be asked, and the complexities within must be addressed. Or will we once again ignore and walk forward, while the storm clouds continue to build, with no shelter in sight.
