Government has only 1 tool: RATIONING.

Too many traffic accidents? Ration your speed. Don't improve road design. Limit freedom instead.

Health system overwhelmed? Ration hospital access. Serious patients only. Don't improve supply. Get irreversibly sick, then receive care.

Food prices too high? Ration the food. Don't improve supply. Attack those evil food hoarders!

Gun deaths too high? Ration the guns. Don't address mental health or addiction crises. In order to defend everyone, everyone must be defenseless.

Rationing is government's only tool. It's their first "solution" to a problem. They don't have an innovative, supply driven, solution-orientated bone in their body.

Their solution is always "do less".

Which is why the only way to "do more", is by having "less government".
