What’s if mermaids swim in the sun and starfish live in the sky. Drawing on books is hard, but fun. The first book is the best therapy I’ve ever had, and I haven’t even finished it yet. I plan on doodling all over it - for good reasons. The second, well, I spilled water on the proof and it was bugging me so decided to cover it with Koi fish and water lilies - which probably has nothing to do with a story about a violinist. I just kept seeing Monet paintings and thought, fuck it, I like Monet.

After going through my old sketchbooks I noticed that I have a tendency to start loads of things and rarely just sit down and finish them in one go - currently reading 7 books 🤦🏽‍♀️ - so they end up taking forever. This realisation made me kinda sad. Decided to go back through things I started recently and finish them. Even the small things (below). It isn’t important or anything, but it is important to me that I do. Which means I’m off for a bit 🫂 I really like you guys, and whoever made it to the end of this long note, giant hug for you ♥️🫂

Turns out art/creating is the only therapy that really works for me, so that’s how I spend my nights.

🫂 - always good to take a break and revisit one’s therapeutic passions! Everyone will still be here too 💜

Keep creating as it seems to make you happy

See you soon 🫂

that's so beautiful!! I'm impressed!

and it is important. ♥️

sending you a caring hug!

One of the most common things that clinicians find in depressed people is that a series of events occurred, which led to them doing less things that make them happy. Do more of what you love, it’s part of you who you are.

I love your doodles, Eshara!

One by one you can finish them 🫂
