I may have just pulled an all nighter to get a cryptographic toolkit integrated with a cross compiler.
Hope to get libbotan2 added to the list of MXE packages soon. I need to do more testing before I'm confident enough to submit a merge request, vut so far so good.
...and this is why I test everything before submitting it upstream...

Wow, so many fun gotchas. Sometimes Makefiles seem to have if/else, other times they omit the "else" keyword but still have an else clause.
Also, $(TARGET) is not defined in some contexts, which was causing me to get a 32-/64-bit mismatch between the libraries and the exexutable. That's a big problem at linking time. Haha
Spun up a fresh VM to do what I hope will be a final test. 🙏
