One problem with all of this is if you accept the possibility that one of the towers was literally just a CIA front for 33 years, you start to doubt almost everything.

I don’t just mean the mass casualty events, but everything. I’m basically there but it makes for a lot of paranoia. Like — “how is that empty restaurant on this fancy street still in business? Is this a front?”

Everything anomalous starts to become a bit sinister. Of course I prefer the truth, whatever it might be, but you don’t want to be looking for monsters under the bed.
