But the reason that a lot of people don't feel it is because disinflation doesn't mean prices go back to where they were, at least on average. Some specific prices can, but prices in aggregate don't go backdownto where they were 3 years ago. They just stop increasing at the high rate they were during their peak. So, there is a permanent increase in the supply of money, and there's a permanent increase in at least the majority of prices."
