Men who provide "intimacy" are doing so, not for their woman, but to create a soft, nurturing (motherly) environment for themselves.

No woman wants to be made to feel like their man needs to be supported emotionally during sex; they are satisfied with leadership in sex as in life.

A critical caveat is that women fear, for good reason, to be lead (to destruction) by weak men. If a woman does not see a confident ease in her man, she will attempt to undermine his masculinity and convert him to a sponsor.

Men with lots of wife-given rules and "intimacy" have let the window close on sexual leadership and leadership within the relationship. The two are interconnected.
