Hey, where do you send Normies asking about BTC?

My go to is Strike & immediately send to Muun.

I don’t want to get into non-KYC as I barely understand that as well.

Thoughts? I think this is the best and easiest to get someone up & running quickly.

Muun is my go to for this.

KISS is the way.

Absolutely.

I've been doing strike.

I like that Swan doesn't have a sell button though.

Been pondering sending based on that.

Strike for me because they’ve been best at margins IMO. They don’t inflate like most but I heard Swan is better at that now.

For total normies I send people to cash app because most people already have it and have experience with it. Plus can purchase and send to cold storage. It’s kyc so there’s that.

Swan for the past couple of years bc lower fees, but still kyc. Basically whatever is easiest for them to get.

Great idea with Cash app. I’ve used that as well and it’s easy.

Very easy. Fees were much lower when they first rolled out btc, have since crept up. They allow you to send it to external so it’s an easy quick option for noobs.

#[2] is what I recommend to people.

I would have them download an idiot-proof light mobile self-custody wallet like Edge wallet. All they need to do to secure their keys is remember a username and password. The app has multiple payment channels for purchasing Bitcoin, and since it's sent straight to their wallet they won't be leaving it on an exchange.

Also try to help them get educated about Bitcoin, that's what keeps them from making stupid mistakes.

Send them to our app!

Yup. I’ve helped a lot but it does fall on them to care enough to learn or they will get burned. Initial interest is easy at times. People taking responsibility for their ownership etc becomes the challenge. I hate babysitting after the fact which sometimes pushes me away from even trying. “Just buy GBTC in your IRA”, it’s best for you;)
