I am not asking for your private key only if yiu would like to have a verified NIP-05 address i only use your public key i can give you a free address that looks like “onesat@mycontinuum.xyz” Ir something like that
Then yiu woukd have a verified checkmark next to your npub makini you mire trustworthy

And Yes there are scammers on nostr i have encountered a few of them impersinatung “Jeff Booth” (at least separate noubs claiming to be the real one but only one has 100k followers And hes legit (most likely)
The others tried to get me to talk about my “tradingstrategies And investing in his company ugh”
Some (like primal ) will charge you for having a verified address
