wrote a poem and engineered this artwork today dedicated to the number ~•3•~

long before our modern days,

in ancient times with its mystic ways,

the number ~•3•~ held great esteem,

a powerful symbol, a sacred theme.

it’s the number of dimensions that humans perceive, three Ayurvedic doshas, painpoints to relieve,

it’s the trinity of gods, a sacred trine,

three phases of the moon, a cosmic sign.

in science, it’s the atomic structure,

with protons, neutrons, and electrons in rupture,

three states of matter, solid, liquid, and gas,

a symbol of Mother Nature's mass.

in art, it’s the rule of thirds that bind,

a composition with balance, perfectly aligned.

in music, it’s the three-part harmony,

a melodic blend, a symphony.

mind, body, soul; heart, brain, body,

three parts working in harmony,

together they form a divine unity,

a source of strength and synergy.

…and of course there are, life’s three stages;

birth, growth and death, we must write those pages.

and so we forge our past, present and future,

with every step we take and every thought we nurture.
