Would I trust him, absolutely not.

Not because I think he’d turn people over to US Gov, but because I don’t see him leaving office. A benevolent dictator today is just a dictator tomorrow when things don’t go his way.

People should recognise the good he has done short term with skepticism that it’s likely unsustainable beyond his tenure.

So maybe short term it’s a solution for those devs if they want to continue working on their projects but it’s entirely possible the US will destabilise ES again.
