#Nostr Log Day 49:

#Nostr is the space I linger throughout the day now. I no longer doom scroll propaganda pieces to get angry at. I no longer am made aware to the goings of celebrities merely because boredom and the algorithms' force feeding of unnecessary and conflict inducing garbage.

I know far more pop culture on content from "artists" I've never even consumed because of my stupidity.

Instead, I read insights. I read struggles. I view art and memes. I laugh. I read the stories of the plebs here. We prove use case and functionality of open protocols. What is possible when people congregate and choose their own feeds. Removed from the narratives of the crumbling fiat empires.

An alternative to the structured approach of being told what to consume, when to be angry, or how to behave.

We build.

Tools. Community. On a foundation of sound unit of account. Decentralized from power structures and influence. A brain being built on the internet. Of agreed upon consensus.

It's been a pleasure to be distracted by you fine people. Even if it may be taking a toll on my productivity and attention span on occasion.
