I'm pretty confident scientists can at a minimum measure the temperature and determine if it's getting hotter on average.

I'm not confident they know why it's happening, how it will change or not change in the future. These people don't even know if it will rain tomorrow.

And I know for DAMNED SURE the answer isn't to implement communism, reduce energy production or impose higher taxes.

just for the sake of argument.

if you acknowledge 'we don't know why it's happening'..., how come you be 'dammed sure the answer isnt communism, reducing energy or higher taxes'

either we dont know WHY and then we also dont know WHAT TO DO..

or we know WHY and know WHAT TO DO

Because these things (bigger centralized governments) NEVER work to solve anything, they always make the problems worse

Individuals choices and entrepreneurial innovation solve problems, not higher taxes and bureaucracy
