I usually stop myself into getting into those subjects, unless in face to face conversations. And even there. It's difficult to have a discussion between 2 people with different opinions...it usually ends bad. I rather have peace, than to be right. Lol
My motivation is more about the desire for understanding rather than an “argument”
Avoiding some conversations for the desire for peace seems, to me, to be only a temporary peace. I would rather strive for a more sustainable peace
Interesting POV, now two people that missed an opportunity to see the other’s point of view and genuinely understand that they fundamentally want the same outcome but the mechanics of getting there are the true difference.
Even just agreeing to disagree is a more peaceful than not knowing or making pre-judgments about one another… that is how people get shot.
