I think that Blossom can be "the IPFS that works", but just in theory. I haven't seen its magical link-resurrection capabilities working in practice.

Maybe a simple start would be an app where you can post a Nostr event reference and it would do the appropriate Blossom link-replacing there for you, in case you're on a client that doesn't do that automatically.

It's not bad but I think Blossom is superior because most of the time clients can just do the simple dumb thing and load an image from a URL (which they already do) instead of having to load a NIP-94 event.

maybe there should be something like DNS in nostr.
