Mood in Britain right now…….for perspective.

Pot roast brisket from the farm shop, slow cooking in the oven. Heading to the DIY store with my kids soon to buy stuff for a garden build project.

Drink wine with the beef, then watch Formula 1 this afternoon with a couple of beers.

Could things be better? Yes. Is the government increasingly authoritarian? Yes. But it’s still pretty fucking good here and there are people everywhere building, getting involved in community and opting out of the BS system. Peace.✌️

It's rare to see any commentary on the state of things here that doesn't involve talk of civil war, economic collapse or some other kind of apocalypse. It's easy to forget that there are still many good people out there who don't buy into their bs, and are just getting on with their lives.

If we are going to get through this, this is how we do it, more of this all round

The constant commentary from people who have never even been here is also very annoying.
