If you are still not sure what to replace Adobe with. A Twitter user put this together. Very helpful!

Remember don't let these companies like Adobe think they have the upper hand and take advantage.

They are replaceable.

Thank you for noting! 😁

No problem! 😄

I still have a copy of the CS6 suite that works just fine.

Every program in it was stable.

That's good! I think I'm just tired of Adobe and their shinanigans. Most of the art I like to do is physical media anyway. What I mainly use is after effects, but I'm finding Da Vinci Resolve a suitable replacement.

I hear even the free version is awesome. Might have to look at it.

Might as well give it a shot! Just a warning, there is a learning curve since the tools are slightly different. I know that bothers some people. But if you watch a few tutorials or just mess around its great.

+1 for Resolve. It's a beast of a program, has a bit of a learning curve.

Yea the nodes threw me for a loop!

And trying to get the effects to work the way I'm used to is still a little bit of a struggle but I'm getting the hang of it! 😅

Love it. I love learning new software too

I would love an indesign replacement. It's far better than any word processor one ever used.

I haven't really used InDesign but I used Affinity Publisher and it is pretty good! You can have the text span over multiple boxes and pages and such. But I haven't used it for much else 😅

I might look into that one.
