I care about freedom.

I like to decide

* where I want to travel,

* what I can spend on my money,

* when I can go out to the streets,

* who I want to meet,

* what I want to say.

This sounds far-fetched in many countries, but we have been there and getting close again. Each and every decision could be explained with some reason.

E.g.:

No travel outside the country: people could leave the country if they would have better life there. If one do it, more would come, so they close the borders. Also moving abroad means moving money abroad, that takes out money from the countries economy.

Spending money:

You can't buy foreign stocks or bonds, because if your a currency is crashing, it incentivizes people to rescue their money, that further crashes the price. So moving money away is forbidden. Happened in Russia last year.

Going out to the streets:

During COVID, many countries introduced curfews. It basically stops you from going out to the street whenever you want.

Meeting people:

In China at the moment, if it is decided that you are not a nice person, all contacts have to be stopped with you.

Free speech:

Germany banned things you cannot say online.

These are just some examples from the past, where these simple looking things were not allowed.
