There are already services that DM for verification.
Don’t see how that couldn’t be applied to waiting lists

Another example? From nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft neec bunker. The way it gets handled though is that it becomes a dm.
I like that. Would love to see these as standalone tools anyone can use.
