ok, another iteration of me trying to understand how damn works lightning network:

As I uderstood, in today implementation a reference to the funding tx is encoded in channel-id AND also is short channel id (SCID).

SCID is included in bolt11 invoices and it leaks the funding tx of the channel receiving.

SCID alias is a solution, useful for anannounched channels, to protect the information about the funding tx when been payd on lightning with bolt11 invoice.

So an alias is used instead of the actual SCID and the loss of privacy is limited (only risks of payments-correlations on loghtning graph, not utxos leaked onchain).

phoenix instead doesnt implement SCID alias, but I found an issue in the main library it is based on where theres a reference to an "hacky way to alias SCID".

https://github.com/ACINQ/lightning-kmp/issues/408

Does someone knows better if receiving bolt11 with phoenix leaks infos about the funding tx?

Also, as I understood, the node-id (included also in bolt11 invoices) doesnt leaks any infos about funding txs and onchain utxos. Its true, I understood correctly?

Thaks a lot!
