The agreement between the European Parliament and the Council of the EU on the future regulation that will lay the technical foundations of the European digital identity.

All EU citizens will (should?) be able to use an EU Digital Identity Wallet to access public and private online services with full security and protection of personal data across Europe.

Article 45 presents severe threats to the privacy of European citizens, the security of European commerce and to the Internet as a whole.
