the other platforms are censored in part because the people on them want it like that. they will want it here.
personal choice of platform isn't building a wall. anyone can make a Nostr account.
"inclusivity" is a DEI pipe dream (and worse); not everyone is meant to or wants to interact with everyone else.
we choose our friends IRL.
What would prevent you from still chosing your friends in the case we are more inclusive?

inclusivity is an idea and has become an ideaology.
i've watched it destroy 3 Sanghas. i've seen it increase the number of incompetent people in various businesses.
for example:
someone makes a book club then in the name of (fucking) inclusivity John joins and lines to fly kites and in the name of inclusivity they add kite flying, then Susan joins and likes riding bikes so they add to at too ... sooner rather than later you have a 'nothing' group.
the major social media apps and media (tv and film) all cater to the lowest common denominator of 'society' (idiots). american TV writing and plots are at an elementary school level.
further, putting aside the filthy corporate advertising, major social media apps don't do anything without people. if there were no people on them they would be just still. the reason FB, Shitter, etc. are so bad IS exactly the people on them and how they use them.
Nostr in part is good because it auto-filters out most idiots.

Maybe I misused the term inclusivity.
I am thinking of the following:
What shall I do, if my target audiance is using an other platform? What if the niche I am in is generally using another platform?
Nostr is about freedom, bitcoin and enjoying pain 😂 I mean I am here, and don't use other platforms, but this is still in an infant phase. This is totally fine though! It takes time to reach maturity.
But what if I want to be nostr only, but the people I want to reach e.g. are people who don't know bitcoin yet?
Here we have a couple of them, but not many.
So I am thinking of inclusivity, maybe wrong word, that I would like to reach people who are not on nostr.
Also everyone is free to make an account on other platforms, so being able to make a "user" on nostr, is not a big deal. Also making it with 0 personal information has zero interest for people who "has nothing to hide" 😂 at least in their eyes.
"Nostr first" sounds a good approach.
"Nostr only" does not sound like it, because this way you take away content from people's eyes that could change them.
Why is this important?
Did all bitcoiners become bitcoiners in 2009 or 2010? No.
Did they need to stumble upon it a few times to somehow get the grasp of it, and start to be open about it? Yes.
If all bitcoin, freedom related content disappears from other platforms, word won't spread that much. You take away the opportunity from other people to realise the good things.
Probably it does not make sense to try to convince people who don't care about these things. But if you take away all content from them, they will have less chance realising they were wrong.

i'd caution about absolutes though like only nostr but i think you already figured that out
use the correct platform for the use that you need. market on X for example and use Nostr for socializing. you are completely free.
