I just spent over an hour with my accountant here in Italy and we spent 90% of the time talking about Bitcoin, Lightning, and Nostr. 😂

He's pumped about the idea of getting more local businesses using Lightning payments.

What's the easiest lightning PoS set up for local, brick & mortar type businesses these days?

My local barbers are interested in Ln

I guess absolute grass roots, barber can set up WoS or preferably non custodial

And start receiving payments right away

Declare the income as normal

Yeah – direct with a wallet is one way but I think the reality is that most vendors are pretty low-tech and would need lots of support.

E.g. the problem isn't getting people set up with a Lightning wallet, it's more about how they integrate LN into their business in a way that feels easy.
