It's crazy Genndy Tartakovsky has to restore to posting this test animation only line to get Sony Pictures Animation to greenlight movie. The bit of details he revealed so far, an adult animation about knight controlling a 20 foot tall suit of armor combined with this footage should be an instant buy. However I do sorta understand why the execs are cautious because I think the last American mecha movie was Pacific Rim Uprising (?) and that didn't do well at the box office. Still hope The Black Knight sees the light of day theatrically instead of being locked away in Netflix Hell!
