If you're trying to say that Christendom was great during the Crusades, you have some cognitive dissonance to get out of your system.

Crusades are in direct conflict with Christ's teaching to "love your neighbor".

There is no valid Holy War.

There is no valid Holy Violence.

Glorifying Crusaders is high hypocrisy.

If you want to make Christendom great again, that's going to require that individual Christians get over their attachments and go explore every religion looking for the connections that are common to them.

That's not likely to happen though because most people operate from their ego, not from their hearts.

I recommend you read Sword and Scimitar and Defenders of the West, both by Raymond Ibrahim. I don't say this condescendingly. They are great books that dispel much of the propaganda and smears against the crusading period.

Suffice to say, I have answers to the big questions Graham Hancock asks on Ancient Apocalypse. Tens of millions of people watch that show and don’t have answers. I do.
