No doubt about it, bank equity is in trouble. The five day chart shows all of them plus JPM down ~5%.
Portions of their balance sheet (held to maturity) is increasingly underwater. If forced to liquidate it would wipe out bank equity in the entire system.
The only thing stopping a crisis is the BTFD credit line set to expire in March.
