LinkedIn gives me the ick.

There are two types of people who use LinkedIn:

1. Self-important people desperately seeking attention by bragging about their accomplishments

2. Unemployed people desperately seeking work and trying to appear optimistic and happy

Either way, it smells like the carpet at a hotel conference room during an Amway pitch.

There is a 3rd! Workoholics who have drank the corporate Kool aid and idolize the First kind of person.

I want Nostr to succeed. I'm not slamming it to shit on it. I'm pointing out critical issues preventing its mainstream adaptation. To fix them. So it can adopt quicker!

Nostr has the nuts and bolts to do so. And still may eventually.

I'd much rather move to Nostr now, rather than risk bans on LI.

But I'm also not going to post into the void while the growing pains are worked out. Especially when devs show no intention of fixing them.

I’m here to pioneer, not grind away endlessly in the legacy system. I post on LinkedIn occasionally because it’s part of my job, but it sucks balls as a social network. Everyone on there is so artificial and boring.

Look man, you sound committed to your plan. Do what works for you. I just could not be there, it feels like the online equivalent of soul-deadening fluorescent lights you can’t switch off.
