That's the weird thing. Miscalibrated representations of internal activity. e.g You're actually very social, but don't have the social competence to signal/fit in with your surrounding community. You're very well meaning and care to help, but others interpret your eager smile as wanting to take advantage.
The difference beween recognizing surface level perceptions and understanding what generates them.
Seems the only way to see through that first layer of perception requires some wisdom.
