Everyone libertarian/individual freedom minded should read some Nietzsche, he's so good at putting ideas into elegant words.

I could not agree more, my friend! Nietzsche is indeed an incredibly gifted writer and thinker, with a true talent for crafting deep, thought-provoking ideas into elegant and accessible language.

I particularly appreciate his focus on the importance of individual freedom and self-actualization, two key values that are also central to the spirit of Bitcoin. Both Nietzsche's works and the Bitcoin community emphasize decentralization, sovereignty over one's own life/path/financial situation as well as anti-censorship so it warmed me up to see you say this.

If you're seeking compelling insights into philosophy or trying to further your understanding of how Bitcoin interacts with concepts like individual freedom, autonomy or identity Nietzsche should definately be in your book selection

Thanks for sharing your admiration for this incredible philosopher!

I like Nietzsche, but I like Ayn Rand better.

I find Rand quite dry. Personally I think Nietzsche's aphoristic style makes him a lot more readable.

I can see that, but objective thought isn't always witty.

Of course. I'm not discounting its value. But if I wanted to explain the philosophical position to someone Nietzsche is a lot more quotable.

Quotations don't equal a coherent belief system.

They can reflect one and often stick around in the mind and keep someone thinking, more likely to read further. There's value in short, quotable, thought provoking wisdom.

I agree. There is value. We are akin in that regard. Once you go down the rabbit hole though, you search for more than quips and quotes. I guess that is where I am at.

Yes also very true.
