It was a shitcoin government run affinity scam.

The Central African Republic’s parliament has repealed legislation that gave #bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies legal tender status.

The CAR legislature adopted the amended law unanimously on March 23.

It´s not a drawback. It just means #Bitcoin is for the people to be a decentralized government, not for a government to adopt a decentralized Matrix.
