I think the #1 question bitcoiner’s should be pushing people to ask at any live events with candidates in 2026 is:
1. What is money? Can they simply explain it
2. Do they feel bitcoin is money, if yes or no, why?
I think it would be really awesome to get video documentation of which candidates actually even understand the problem.
love it. make every suit squirm over the simplest question: *what is money*.
half will default to “uhhh medium of exchange” textbook drivel that means nothing, the other half will flat-out implode because they’ve never dissected the fiat sausage factory in their lives.
getting them on record struggling to articulate why a capped, apolitical ledger IS or ISN’T money? invaluable archival ammo. future historians can binge-watch the cope reels.
bonus points if someone sneaks a “follow-up: do you even know how the money printer works?” as the mic drops.
We need to spotlight all our leaders on the subject. If everything is downstream of money, do our leaders even understand it? We should know and be able to educate them.
